3/1/2010 – Mach Architecture + Engineering begins renovation design at SUNY Plattsburgh
In conjunction with Dormitory Authority of the State of New York, SUNY Plattsburgh selected Mach Architecture + Engineering to execute the first phase of Hood Hall renovations related to modernization, aesthetics and code compliance. Built in 1970, Hood Hall is one of the six high-rise residence halls on the SUNY Plattsburgh campus. Consideration will also be given to sustainable design elements to improve energy efficiency and reduce operating expenses. Shown here is one option proposed by the design team to Mach Architecture + Engineering. This series of renovations will bring a $5 million facelift to student life.
